This Cookie Notice explains how brivonsystems.com (operated by Brivon Systems LLC) uses cookies and similar technologies. We aim to keep the site simple: we do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party behavioral analytics.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session identifiers, work in a comparable way. They can make a site function, remember a setting, or measure usage.
2. Cookies and identifiers we use
At the time of this notice the site uses only what is needed to operate the contact form:
- Session cookie (strictly necessary). When you submit the measure brief form, our PHP form handler starts a session so that it can limit repeat submissions in quick succession and reduce spam. It is a session cookie, normally named PHPSESSID, that contains a random identifier and expires when you close your browser or after a short server-side period. It does not identify you personally and is not used for marketing.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request details (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and reliability. These are not cookies but are described in our Privacy Policy.
3. What we do not use
- Advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking pixels
- Third-party analytics or session-replay tools
- Cookies that build profiles of your browsing across other sites
- Cookies that store form contents or your brief on your device
If this changes (for example, if we add privacy-respecting analytics), we will update this notice before the change takes effect and, where required, ask for your consent.
4. Third-party content
To display our typefaces, pages request font files from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google’s servers to retrieve them, so Google may receive your IP address and request details. Google describes its handling of this data in its own privacy documentation. We do not use Google Fonts to track visitors, and we do not add other third-party embeds to the page.
5. Your choices
Because we use only strictly necessary session identifiers, there is no consent banner to manage. You can control cookies at any time through your browser settings: most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and clear site data. Blocking the form’s session cookie may stop the contact form from working; in that case you can email clientdesk@brivonsystems.com or call us instead.
You may also enable a “Global Privacy Control” or similar browser signal. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, our practices are the same whether or not the signal is on.
6. Changes to this notice
We may update this Cookie Notice when our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision.
